 150 Hour Postgraduate Course

are you ready to Upgrade your teaching qualifications

“It is a beautiful process of humility to step into the divine presence of being a student.

We are reminded of the depth and healing potential of the practices of yoga”.

I am truly honoured to offer you this 150-hour post graduate training which was born from my 25+ years of experience teaching yoga and meditation. Yoga is not just something we do, it is a part of who we are. It is not only practiced on the mat but more importantly off the mat also. Yoga is a life long journey of self-discovery and transformation. This training ensures you’re equipped with the depth of knowledge and teaching proficiency you need to truly best serve your students, while empowering the outstanding teacher within you to emerge, grow and blossom. Each module has been designed to qualify aspiring teachers, but they are also for dedicated yogi’s and inquisitive, curious souls too!

If you have already completed a 200 or 350-hour yoga teacher training program, you can upgrade your qualification with this 150-hour training (fully accredited by Yoga Australia) to 350 or 500-hours by choosing three of the five 50-hour Modules. Completion of this course will enable you to upgrade your 200-hour provisional Yoga Australia membership (Level O), to a full 350-hour (Level 1) full membership, or to a 500-hour (level 2) full membership.

Certified Yoga Alliance RYT200®/300/500 yoga teachers can log CE (continuing education) credit points from each module.

Choose from the below core modules:

  • Pre and Post-Natal Yoga with Active Birth

+ Do I need to be a yoga teacher already to do the course?

This course is designed for yoga teachers, however, in each intake we allow 3-5 dedicated yoga students to attend who are not yoga teachers and are solely interested in deepening their practice and understanding of yoga.

+ Do I have to choose 3 out of 5 modules?

You can do just one, any three or all five that interest you the most. It is a little cheaper if you enrol for the whole 150 hour postgraduate course and choose any three modules.

+ Can I do certain modules only?

Any yoga teacher who wishes to just brush up their knowledge, gain continuing education points or find some much needed inspiration can participate in any single module.

+ Will I receive any course materials?

Yes you will receive a printed manual for each module.

+ What does 150 postgraduate mean?

This Post Graduate course is registered with Yoga Australia and will provide the required hours of training for a yoga teacher to progress from a Provisional Membership (200YTT) to a Level 1 registered yoga teacher (350YTT) status, or from a Level 1 (350YTT) to a Level 2 – Intermediate registered yoga teacher (500 hour yoga teacher training) status.

+ Is this course Yoga Alliance Accredited?

This means that upon successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to add your continuing education hours to your Yoga Alliance membership, should you have one.

+ What happens if I miss a day or portion of the day?

Students need to have 100% attendance to receive the certification. If, however, you are unable to attend due to illness, you can spend extra time with the principal teacher to complete the training hours (charged at $125/hour for missing a 3-hour period), or choose to come back and attend that day when the same module is being taught (usually once a year)

+ If I’m unable to attend the training will I get a refund?

The deposit that is required to reserve a spot in a module is non-refundable. If you have paid in full for the module(s) and can no longer make the dates you choose, the balance of payment will be returned to you. If you have paid the full fees and did not inform us that you are not coming, under “no show” 100% of the module fees will be forfeited.

+ I am pregnant, or injured, and can no longer attend training. Can I get a refund?

We are so sorry about your injury and happy to hear about your pregnancy. Unfortunately, the deposit fee is non-refundable. Please contact us to reschedule your training within the next one year or choose to have the balance of the module fee returned to you.
